KEARSNEY EASTER RUGBY FESTIVAL
Westville Boys’ High pulled off a spectacular upset of Hoërskool Monument on the final day of the Kearsney Easter Rugby Festival, brought to you by Standard Bank, while Durban High School (DHS) overran Pearson to complete an outstanding and unbeaten run at the event.
Glenwood scored two late tries against Nico Malan but were beaten, while Kearsney College fell to the undefeated Dr EG Jansen, whose late spurt made it appear like a one-sided game. It wasn’t.

ST JOHN’S EASTER RUGBY FESTIVAL
At the St John’s Easter Rugby Festival, Hilton College followed up their stunning upset victory over Boland Landbou with a solid victory over Hoërskool Nelspruit, which maintained their clean record at the event.
Maritzburg College wrapped up their schedule with a victory over the Golden Lions XV.

KES EASTER FESTIVAL
Northwood continued their eye-catching start to the rugby season with a big 32-point victory over Hudson Park, which followed their 50-0 dismantling of Die Brandwag in their first match.

Northwood also ended with a win in the hockey festival, with the Knights holding off Waterkloof to win by the odd goal in five.
Kearsney finished with a win over St John’s, but Grey College handed Maritzburg College their only defeat of the festival, and injury-hit St Charles went down to Parktown.
