The Northwood and Kearsney College 1st teams had met in the Primo Big 10 at Hilton College recently, with the Knights securing a 4-3 victory from the penalty spot after the teams had finished regulation time goalless. Apart from that narrow 1st team loss, though, Kearsney’s open age group teams enjoyed an excellent day out. In the u16, u15 and u14 age groups, it was remarkably even: Northwood scored five wins, Kearsney eight victories, and there were two draws.
