HOCKEY
Up against one of the leading hockey-playing schools in South Africa, Northwood gave a good account of themselves, but Jeppe shaded the results in the end, led by their open age group teams.
There were, however, wins for the Northwood u16A and under-14A teams, with the Durban school’s under-14 age group continuing a strong season of success.

A week earlier, on Bowden’s, the Jeppe 1st XV claimed the scalp of Westville Boys’ High, and they added another KZN team to their list of victims on Saturday in Johannesburg, surging to a big win over Northwood.
In a fantastic clash, the home school edged out Northwood by three points in the under-16 A game, but the Durban boys showed up well in the under-15 age group and scored four wins in five matches at under-14 level.
Overall, Jeppe won 11 matches and Northwood nine.
