Strong results from Northwood’s matric class of 2024

Northwood‘s matric class of 2024 produced strong results, which were highlighted by 18 boys with A aggregates, a pass rate of 98 percent, and four learners who achieved seven distinctions each.

Dux, James Ivey, led the way for that quartet, averaging 93.3 percent. Nikhar Singh averaged 88.9 percent, Daniel Ivey 88.6 percent, and Ezra Purthuman 87.1 percent.

Ten boys – Mlungisi ThusiLwandle KhumaloDhiyash NandkuarLuke Walter-GiroutRobert McIntoshShayden NaiduChun-Hung ChenSuarav MaharajNirav Jeeawon, and Safwaan Kathoria – received six distinctions each, while Zack SteeleSurav Dass, Knights’ hockey player Andre Strydom, and 1st XV standout Titas Cesonis finished with five distinctions each.

Northwood’s learners produced 257 distinctions against all subjects, with 80.2 percent of learners receiving a Bachelors Pass, and 93.3 percent qualifying for tertiary education.
