Catching up on some results among the school in the Coastal region from the past weekend, there was a momentous win for Northwood (in feature photo), who scored a 3-2 win at Glenwood on the weekend.
The Knights have lacked a little consistency this season, but when they’re at their best they’re a tough unit, and they proved it by winning at the home of the KZN Coastal League and Primo Big 10 champions.
DHS, meanwhile, visited Kloof High School and came away with a narrow victory, also by a 3-2 margin.
Clifton College took on Reddam House Umhlanga, missing some of their players, who were helping the school to an impressive third place finish in the Kearsney Hockey 5s, powered by Belgotex Sport. Still, they shared a goalless draw.
Maritzburg College and Westville Boys’ High met on Barns’ in Pietermaritzburg, with the Red, Black and White coming away with a 2-1 victory.
Coming up this weekend, the Pietermaritzburg and Midlands FA Cup, where College will be defending the title.
