RUGBY
The rain and wind made for low-scoring matches between DHS and Westville on Saturday, and while DHS won 13 matches, Westville won four and two were drawn, the competition was exceptionally close. In fact, the average score was just 17-14 (rounded off).
Both draws occurred in the open age group, which included a 19-9 victory for the DHS 1st XV over Westville in a tremendously hard-fought tussle.
The Horseflies won three of four in the u16 age group, three of four at u15 level, and three of five in the u14 games.

HOCKEY
The Friday Night Lights showdown between the DHS and Westville 1st teams delivered a high-quality clash, won 3-1 by the hosts at The Coliseum, with four outstanding goals highlighting the game.
Lumi Matwele, Thabo Bogacwi and Nathi Jona netted for School and Thabo Dlamini replied for the Griffin.
Overall, Westville won seven games, DHS took four victories, and there was one draw.
Competition was tight in the open and u16 age groups, but Westville has been dominant in the u14 age group this season and they continued that form against DHS, winning all four matches without conceding a goal.
