Durban High School (DHS), Glenwood High and Westville Boys’ High all fared better on day two of the Nedbank Grey College Soccer Tournament than on the opening day, but none of the teams managed a clean record in Sunday’s action.
KZN schools’ results
DHS enjoyed a 5-2 win over Curro Bloemfontein, but were then narrowly beaten by Saint Stithian’s, before overwhelming Saint Andrew’s School of Bloemfontein in their third match.
Glenwood suffered a big loss to Jeppe in round seven of the action but, showing good fighting spirit, they rebounded with a win over Hodisa Technical High.
Meanwhile, Westville, losers by 2-3 in all three of their matches on Saturday, were again beaten by a single goal when they met the George Royal Academy. It went better the next time out as the Griffin drew with a strong HTS Louis Botha team.
