What a day for the Kearsney 1st XI!
Back on Stott Field after a tough day out against Westville last weekend, they bounced back in fine fashion, defeating Michaelhouse 2-0 on the back of two spectacular goals, which would sit well in any “best of” collection.
With their performance on Saturday, Kearsney showed that their heavy defeat the previous weekend was an anomaly, which was further underlined by Maritzburg College’s win over the Griffin on Bowden’s.
It was a very good day out for Kearsney in the open age group. The records were even in the under-16 age group, while ‘House claimed the under-15 A win, and Kearsney took the under-14 A victory, as the two younger age groups produced an even mix of results.
