Cineverse opens in the Northwood School Hall on Thursday evening, 24 August. Further performances of the cinematic musical extravaganza, which has the school’s community excited and the performers raring to go, will follow on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Ahead of opening night, a performance was hosted for a special audience of senior citizens, who had been invited along as guests, on Wednesday. Superb entertainment, along with a delectable selection of tasty eats, all served by the boys of Northwood, was provided.
The Cineverse musical selection contains many familiar songs, which are sure to get some feet tapping and hands clapping.
The cast includes Northwood students and other learners from Northlands Girls’ High, Danville Park Girls’ High, Our Lady of Fatima and Crawford International La Lucia College.
Performance options
Thursday’s performance will be presented with cinema-seating style, with tickets on sale at R130. The Friday and Saturday night performances will differ, with Barnyard-style seating, at R150 per person, on offer.
