Saint Charles’ basketball standout Taite Hendricks was one of the leading performers for KwaZulu-Natal at the Inter-provincial Tournament in Bloemfontein during the holidays.
With the lanky Hendricks playing a starring role – averaging 23 points, five rebounds, four assists, two blocks and two steals a game – KZN made it to the final.
Deservedly, after that complete and consistent all-round contribution, he was named in the national team to represent South Africa at the u18 FIBA Africa Games in 2024.
Saints leading the way
Earlier this year, Hendricks was part of the Saint Charles College team that captured the Saint John’s Basketball Tournament title, the most prestigious event of its kind in South African schoolboy basketball.
