Hilton College vs Durban High School

Rugby

Following their remarkable performance in a 64-17 win over HTS Drostdy, DHS might have been the slight favourites for their showdown with Hilton on Gilfillan Field. It was, however, an away game and Hilton defended their territory tenaciously to come away with a narrow win.

They also scored wins in the under-16 A and under-15 A games, but DHS ruled the under-14 age group.

Saint Charles College vs Clifton College

Rugby

Saints were surely happy with their rugby showing against Clifton, with the hosts, on their Old Boys’ Weekend, coming away with much the better of the results, including a win for the 1st XV. Clifton, though, could look to their under-15 A and under-14 A teams for evidence of better days to come.

Hockey

There was little predictability to the hockey results between Saint Charles and Clifton. Yes, the visitors won the 1st XI game, but the rest of the fixtures went one way and then the other. Saints sneaked past Clifton in the u16A game, while the under-14 A contest ended in a share of the spoils.
