Undoubtedly, the biggest result of the weekend’s fixtures was the Northwood 1st XV’s 29-22 win over Glenwood at Glenwood. It was their first ever win on Dixons, but well deserved as they withstood heavy pressure from the Green Machine before finishing the stronger of the two sides.
Northwood also came away with victories in the age group A team games, with the under-15A clash being a particularly open and exciting clash, delivering 84 points.
Overall, Northwood won 14 games, Glenwood took six wins, and one match ended in a draw. Matters were evenly split in the open and under-16 age groups, but Northwood came out on top at under-15 and under-14 level.

Hockey honours went the way of Northwood, who enjoyed a strong showing against their Glenwood counterparts.
Not even a floodlight failure at the Three Schools Astro managed to stop the Knights, with the 1st XI match being moved to Northwood. However, the under-16 A game, which was already underway was not completed.
