Kearsney Easter Festival

At Kearsney, Glenwood and Westville Boys’ High joined Monument as the three teams to go through the event with a perfect record of three wins from three matches. DHS went two for three, including a stunning win over Marlow on the final day, while the hosts went down twice, but ended Dr EG Jansen’s unbeaten season.

Saint Stithian’s

At Saint Stithian’s, Michaelhouse emerged with an unblemished record. Clifton found the sledding tough. However, they played the toughest schedule of any team at the festival; they teams they faced won eight of nine matches.

Saint John’s Easter Festival

At Saint John’s, Maritzburg College showed they are a team to be reckoned with, not only scoring three victories, but also lowering the colours of a highly rated Jeppe 1st XV. Saint Charles scored an impressive win over Saint Benedict’s, while Hilton College won two of three, sneaking by Noordheuwel by two, and losing to Jeppe by four.
