DHS boys in big numbers joined forces with KZN Beach Cleanup on Sunday to give Addington Beach a much-needed spruce up.
Biggest contributors
The DHS boys were, undoubtedly, the biggest contributors to the environmental support effort.
Durban’s beaches, very sadly, have been in a parlous state for some time, with litter, unfortunately, having become a very visible sign of the dangers to health that await beachgoers if something is not done about it.
Thankfully, a number of schools have recognised the need to improve their communities’ beaches and the DHS effort is the latest valuable contribution from a school which has chosen not to stand back and wait for somebody else to do the work.
Congratulations Horseflies on a much-needed and fantastic job!
