BASKETBALL
At the recent Saint John’s Basketball Tournament, Northwood produced the best all-round showing of the KZN schools in action in Johannesburg, which was indicative of the all-round depth of their programme. Against DHS, they were again on song, dominating the under-15 and open age group games. The under-16 and under-14 age groups were more tightly contested, but Northwood still managed to muster wins throughout.

CRICKET
Northwood’s 1st XI managed a 15-run victory over their DHS counterparts. Based on results earlier in the season, that result was expected, but the under-16A and under-15A matches were expected to be much tighter, and so they proved to be with the Durban north school clawing their way to narrow wins in both. Northwood’s sides impressed with their strength in depth.
