The Kearsney College 1st and 2nd rugby squads recently paid a visit to Ethelbert Child and Youth Care Centre (ECYCC) in Queensburgh. Together, they will be supporting ECYCC with their #TriesForLives initiative.
The visit was an opportunity for the boys to spend some time with the children who will be benefitting from their support, while also enjoying a bit of time throwing rugby balls about and providing inspiration for the kids.
ECYCC (https://ethelbert.co.za/) is a registered non-profit and public benefits organisation, specialising in the full-time care, rehabilitation and support of vulnerable, abandoned and abused children within KwaZulu-Natal.
Tries for Lives is utilised by rugby teams around the world to support various organisations in an effort to help improve the lives of others, and has also been supported by, among others, Westville Boys’ High and Hilton College.
