Kearsney College has yet another reason to celebrate its academic excellence after five of its learners excelled in the South African Junior History Olympiad, which was held at the end of 2022.
Pride of place went to Connor van Heerden, who was joint first overall. Thus, he was in the top one percent nationally, which meant he received a Platinum Certificate.
Jason Denekamp, Joshua-Peter Clark and Oliver Tubb were awarded Gold Certificates for finishing in the top five percent nationally.
Thomas Blomfield, with a top 10 percent national finish, received a Silver Certificate.
