Stephen Lock’s 11 distinctions included 5 A Levels (marks above 90 percent): mathematics, further mathematics, chemistry, biology and physics.
His 11 distinctions were matched by Sebastian Ridge, who had four A Levels for mathematics, further mathematics, physics and chemistry, averaging 95.75 percent, including a remarkable 99 percent for mathematics.

Ryan Govender, who achieved 10 distinctions, also recorded four distinctions for his A Levels, in mathematics, chemistry, physics and geography.
“We are tremendously proud of the excellent efforts of our 2022 Sixth Form boys. Their A Level results have set new records of achievement,” Mr Van Blerk said.
